Cable Communications specialises in the installation of telephone systems and data cabling, particularly in the public sector.

Formed in 1989, the Company has continued to build on the skills and knowledge gained from extensive experience in the field of telephony and data cabling within British Telecom, Mercury and the armed forces. The Company has been delivering quality cabling installations throughout the UK since then, specialising in structured cabling including fibre optic, Cat5e and Cat 6 as well as integrated telephony such as Avaya and Panasonic systems.

Through annual training programmes and selective recruitment practices Cable Communications has brought together teams of engineers able to complete installations to the highest of standards, whilst the
management team provide operational and project leadership as well as specialist technical advice. This level of expertise has made Cable Communications one of the most respected communications businesses in East Anglia.

Cable Communications employs a qualified team of engineers and technicians, who have extensive experience in the industry, including previous employment with BT, Mercury and armed forces. Regular training of staff is also undertaken, including in-house development programmes, manufacturers and independent training courses. The team has qualifications to City & Guilds standards in Data Cabling and Fibre Optic (3466/01) and BICSI trained installers (Level 2).

The Technical Director of Cable Communications is qualified as a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). The RCDD is recognised industry wide as a qualification for individuals who demonstrate expertise in the design, implementation and integration of telecommunications and data communications transport systems and related infrastructure.

Cable Communications has undertaken major cabling installations in high security situations as well as those that require particular care and attention to employee needs. Each member of the team is aware of the impact of installation and maintenance on employees and work at all times to minimise the inconvenience.
